Better-for-You Superfoods Arrive for Beachgoers, Vacationers, and Active Locals, Grand Opening July 17, Friends and Family Event July 16
ORANGE BEACH, Ala., (July 14, 2026) — everbowl®, the fast-casual superfood brand with more than 100 locations nationwide, is bringing its craft superfood bowls, smoothies and toasts to the Alabama Gulf Coast, celebrating its grand opening on July 17 at The Wharf in Orange Beach.
The location is owned and operated by Karen and Jesse Herfel, husband-and-wife entrepreneurs with over 25 years each in real estate and six years running a craft beer bar. everbowl’s mission of fueling people in motion mirrors the active life they built after leaving Arizona for Orange Beach with their two teenagers a year and a half ago. The Herfels are longtime supporters of local schools and community causes and see everbowl as a new way to hire, train and grow their team.
“The Wharf draws families and active people from across the Gulf Coast, which makes it a perfect home for everbowl,” said Trevor Sacco, Brand President of everbowl. “We truly believe everbowl will quickly become part of the daily rhythm here, whether guests are grabbing breakfast or refueling after a day on the water.”
Ahead of the public opening, the location will host a Friends and Family Event on July 16 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., offering guests an exclusive first taste of everbowl. The first 300 guests will receive a free bowl.
“We fell in love with this community’s energy, and everbowl lets us share something fresh and feel-good with the families, neighbors and visitors who make the Gulf Coast special,” said Karen Herfel, co-owner of everbowl at The Wharf. “We’ve always fundraised for and given back to our community through our businesses,” says Jesse, “and the opportunity to employ people and help our community grow is something we find very fulfilling.”
